When the Empok Nor mining facility was abandoned by its Cardassian owners, Jerax was left behind with several other soldiers. Jerax and the others were placed into stasis, but would be reactivated by trespassers on the station. In 2373, Jerax and his brethren were re-awakened by a Starfleet team led by Miles O'Brien. Jerax killed two Starfleet officers, Stolzoff and Boq'ta, before being dispatched by Elim Garak. (DS9 episode: "Empok Nor")
