In Norse mythology, Valhalla (ancient Norwegian for "great hall") was the heavenly place for honored Viking warriors. Somewhat similar to Sto-Vo-Kor for Klingons. Their souls were judged and sent there by Woden himself. In Star Trek V: The Final Frontier, McCoy jokingly tells Kirk he'll call Valhalla to reserve a room there.
