The Reichsbank is the central bank of the New German Reich. It was established in 2016 using the assets of the former Preußische Bank. The Reichsbank is responsible for the administration of the internal account settlement and banking system, the issue of money and control of money circulation within Prussia, administration of the exchange control regulations and settlement of foreign currency accounts with overseas companies and governments. In addition, the bank buys and sells financial securities and administers the purchase, sale and holding of precious metals for foreign exchange purposes.
