The Halaghi Buroks-in-Answering are the government officials of Halagh. They oversee everything in the caverns, from growing food to maintaining the steam pipes. The Buroks meet in the governary caverns to discuss important matters and are often present at many public events. The council consists of six members who serve for a term of six months. At the end of the term, another election is held. Buroks can serve for more than one term, but it is generally considered bad form to serve as Burok for more than two terms.
