Rumor Has It... (Rumour Has It... in the United Kingdom, Australia and Canada) is a 2005 romantic comedy film directed by Rob Reiner, starring Jennifer Aniston, Kevin Costner, Shirley MacLaine and Mark Ruffalo. The screenplay by Ted Griffin derives from a real-life rumor[citation needed] about the family in the 1963 novel The Graduate by Charles Webb.
