During one of his team's off world missions, one of Rrk's team members was snared in a primitive people's snares where it was captured by a group of warriors from a nearby settlement. Though his team mate was able to take down several of the warriors with a K'kaan stunner, he was unable to hold them off in order to be rescued by Rrk. As the team mate was being dragged away, their stealth field belt fell off and Rrk was able to find it and used it for the next few weeks as he lived off the land, waiting for a chance to rescue his team mate.
