Dieter Kochan (born May 11, 1974 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada) is a former ice hockey goaltender. Most of his career was spent in the minor pros, playing a total of 21 NHL games. He was the first player to be called up directly from the UHL to the NHL. He scored a goal for the B.C. Icemen, on January 5, 1999. He was named to United Hockey League All-Star second team of 1999–2000. He was a member of the Calder Cup champion Houston Aeros in 2002–03. He also shared (with Wade Dubielewicz) the Harry "Hap" Holmes Memorial Award (AHL - fewest goals against) in 2003–04.
