Private Danny McShane is a character who appears in the Season 3 episode ot the CBS-TV series M*A*S*H titled "Love and Marriage". The part of Pvt. McShane is played in the episode by actor/director Dennis Dugan, who would later in the series appear as Robert "Bob" Wilson, Col. Potter's traveling salesman son-in-law who visits him at the 4077th after coming from a Tokyo business trip, where he recently had an affair, about which Potter accidentally finds out after a call from the hotel he was staying at in the episode "Strange Bedfellows" in Season 11.
