Catware was a video game developer in the 1990s that developed science fiction and fantasy video games. The company developed Might and Magic: Swords of Xeen, which started out as a mod worked on by company workers. They eventually started collaborating with New World Computing, receiving publishing support from them. The game was first published in the Might and Magic Trilogy compilation in 1995. It has since been included in several other anthologies. Catware closed at the end of the 1990s.
