Nick Higgs is chairman of Bristol Rovers Football Club. He became chairman Rovers on 5 August 2008, taking over from Ron Craig who had been in charge for the previous sixteen months. Nick first joined the Rovers board in 2006, and on taking over the chairman's role he told the official club website at bristolrovers.co.uk: "This is a very proud moment for me, and I am delighted to have been entrusted with the Chairman's role at this football club. As a life long Rovers fan, I would have to rank this as one of my highest achievements, and one that I am very much looking forward to tackling."
