Alfredo was the much put-upon waiter employed by the bullying Ralph Lancaster at the Gatsby Club. Despite his continental name, the somewhat burly man spoke with a standard Mancunian accent. Lancaster constantly snapped out orders to the patient man whose only show of defiance was a raise of the eyes to heaven. However he proved his worth when any trouble started in the club such as on the occasion that a fight broke out between rigger Maurice Gordon and Ray Langton.
