Jules Archer (January 27, 1915 – November 13, 2008) was an American author who wrote many volumes of non-fiction history for a general audience and for young adults. Archer attended DeWitt Clinton High School in New York City and the College of the City of New York, where he received a degree in advertising. Archer was interviewed for the 50-minute History Channel documentary, The Plot to Overthrow FDR (In Search of History, 1999). Jules Archer lived the remainder of his life in Scotts Valley, California. His papers are held by the University of Oregon Libraries.
