The USS Prometheus (NX-74913) was the prototype of the Prometheus-class of Federation starships. Launched on stardate 50749.5 in 2373 from Beta Antares Fleet Yards, the Prometheus brought a significant advantage to the "patriot" fleet during the Federation Civil War. She served as the flagship of Admiral Alynna Nechayev, and fought during Operation Return. (Star Trek: Pendragon) From 2375 to 2376, the Prometheus fought on the front lines of the Federation-Gorn Conflict. SEAL Team Alpha-6 was posted to the ship during that time. (Star Trek: Pendragon)
