The Ghost Sword is the standard melee weapon of the Recon class. With the Ghost Sword equipped, a player may left click to attack or right click to activate a melee shield that also applies a slowing debuff to opponents. When attacking from behind the Ghost Sword will cause additional "Backstab" damage. Additionally, the Ghost Sword receives a 20% bonus to damage against mechanical targets making it a good low energy choice for destroying pesky robotics deployables.
