Around thirty days after Emergence Day, Alexieff was part of the effort to defend the city of Halvo Bay from a huge Locust assault. Alexieff was part of the effort to defend the Halvo Bay Military Academy, but was killed fighting against General Karn, becoming the last Gear to die defending the academy. Alexieff's COG Tag was later recovered by Cdt. Sofia Hendrik of Kilo Squad.
