Sindri was the goddess of the earth, as believed by the Dwarven people. During the population of Alagaësia, she was said to have sprouted Humans from the soil. Eragon was told this by Gannel when visiting Celbedeil. The Gem of Sindri, which stood at Bregan Hold, was an oversized version of the Dwarves' Magic Lamps.
