The Ilum Academy Council was a satellite administrative body subservient to the Council of First Knowledge. A seven member Council, these Jedi Masters were appointed to govern the Jedi Temple on the planet Ilum, within the Ilum system. Originally a satellite council under the supervision of the High Council, the original Council was dissolved in the wake of the Great Sith War and was only reconvened after the conclusion of the Clone Wars.
