Sweepstakes is a 2011 American Romantic Drama film written by Lisa Cholodenko and directed by James L. Conway starring Joel Edgerton, Ester Dean, Jonah Hill, Daniel Brühl, Stellan Skarsgård, Thomas Lennon, Cameron Diaz, Salma Hayek and Tyrese Gibson. The film was released on September 28th, 2011 theatrically to mostly positive reviews from critics and audience goers, the film was awarded with a Satellite 2011 award nomination for Best Couple: Edgerton and Dean. The film was released on DVD and Blu-Ray format on December 19th, 2011.
