Ten years after Emergence Day, the Locust began an all-out assault on the Coalition of Ordered Governments' capital city of Ephyra. Lawry served with Daniels aboard a King Raven during the battle. They were heading for the Raven rally point to pick up Gears, but were shot down by a Reaver, and Lawry and Daniels died when their Raven crashed.
