The USS Epirus (NCC-1015) was an Akyazi-class perimeter action ship — of the Akyazi-subclass — on active duty in Starfleet during at least the late 23rd century. (Ships of the Star Fleet, vol. 2) The Epirus was laid down at Rapier Dynamics Group, Melbourne Division, Australia, Earth on 14 August 2284 and was launched on 28 January 2286.
