Gotto Lon was a male Cardassian who lived in the 24th century. In 2369, Lon was sent to Deep Space 9 by Gul Dukat as an envoy, to "remind" Starfleet and the Bajorans of the Cardassian presence nearby. Lon was later killed by Meta, causing an incident when Gul Dukat arrived at Deep Space 9 aboard the Ravage demanding that the murdered Lon be turned over to the Cardassians. (DS9 novel: The Siege)
