Hyperion Books is the Walt Disney Company's book publishing division that was founded in 1991. The company's name came from Hyperion Avenue, prior to being the location of Walt Disney Studios in the year 1939. It is the publisher of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, The Heroes of Olympus, and The Kane Chronicles, Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard, and The Trials of Apollo which are all written by Rick Riordan. Most books published by Hyperion are aimed at children and young adults. However, some other books are adult-aspired in the self-help category, while others are biographies.
