The Chief Master Sergeant of the Starfighter Corps (abbreviated CMSSC) is a unique non-commissioned rank in the Federation Starfighter Corps. The holder of this post represents the highest enlisted level of leadership in the Starfighter Corps, and as such, provides direction for the enlisted corps and represents their interests, as appropriate, to the Federation public, and to those in all levels of government. The CMSSF is appointed by the Starfighter Corps Chief of Staff and serves as the personal adviser to the SFC Chief of Staff on all issues regarding the welfare, readiness, morale, and proper utilization and progress of the enlisted force.
