Grisella was an independent world, presumably near the Federation-Klingon border. The government of Grisella had an interest in fostering peace, and as such, offered to host the 2380 summit meeting between Federation President Nanietta Bacco, Klingon Chancellor Martok, and Empress of the Romulan Star Empire Tal'Aura.
