Jeff was an intern working at the Wyatt Clinic under the supervision of Dr. John Martin. He was smitten with Kelly Taylor, but was also manipulated into pursuing her by Valerie Malone after Brandon Walsh cheated on her and Kelly left him. Jeff dated Kelly for a short time, but he was offered a job in San Francisco and chose to leave Los Angeles after Kelly decided she still loved Brandon.
