The Hot Monster, also known as the Funky Monster are a set of unlockable wheels in Mario Kart 8. They offer a weight and traction boost in compromise for lowered acceleration and handling. Its stats are identical with the Monster tires. It is a variant of the Monster tires, which also appears in Mario Kart 8, where they share the same stats. The Hot Monster features circular treads instead of chevron-shaped treads.
