This genin team from Sunagakure consists of the foster child of the Fifth Kazekage Gaara, Shinki as well as two other Sunagakure ninja, Araya and Yodo. These three participated in the Chūnin Exams held in Konohagakure. The team passes both the first and second exams, during where the team had an encounter with Metal Lee and his team. During the third exam, Araya defeated Inojin Yamanaka, Shinki defeated Chōchō Akimichi, while Yodo, however, was defeated by Shikadai Nara.
