(Far out in space, two glowing, fiery beings are seen in battle, one blue and one purple. The purple figure dashes at the blue and catches him on the side, then they both dash towards each other, meeting in a large explosion. The purple figure tries to escape by hurtling down to Earth, but the blue one follows close behind. Meanwhile, another battle is going on between Mega Man and Bass.
