The Leierian (Taxonomically Tata diucrura; dubbed Longlegs by humans) were a race of four-legged, carnivorous beings. Although strictly feral in nature, time has enabled them to develop a language, as well as reach the 4th technological tier. Their encounters with most other species usually result in brief conflicts.
