The Barrica encampment was a Cardassian military camp on Setlik III during the Federation-Cardassian War. During that conflict, Miles O'Brien led two dozen Starfleet troops against the Barrica encampment and eliminated an entire regiment of Cardassians, for which Garak called him the "Hero of Setlik III" in 2373. (DS9: "Empok Nor") According to the script , Barrica was pronounced as "bah-REEK-ah" (Spanish "rr" like "arriba")
