Old style Signs are an item collected by some people. They usually collect with a theme, Road signs, Works plates (the plates fixed to old machinery by the maker), Advertising signs (usually enamelled steel), Place names etc. Other collectors collect them as part of some other them e.g Road works signs as part of displays of road building and repair gangs at work during past times to teach /show people how it was done in the past.
