The Cheetah Rebel is too small and not powerful enough to be used singularly in combat. Therefore, it is often used as a secondary or tertiary jaeger, especially when the kaiju get more powerful. It uses quick movements to weaken and distract the kaiju while the more powerful jaeger moves in for the killing blow.
