The engine has been around for over 100 years, and has worked at the Springfield Train yard for years, and then was retired. But, years later, during the 100th anniversary, the people of the train yard decided to bring it out of retirement. Coincidentally, the 4th Grade of Springfield Elementary were on a trip to see the engine move again. But, the engine's driver, Kirk Van Houten, only had his 6th Class train driver's license, so he couldn't take them on the train. After a while. the train runs out of coal, stopping it. It is unknown what became of it.
