Usage stats on Kibou-daini nuyen

an Entity in Data Space: dbkwik.org

The unit of currency on Kibou-daini was the nuyen, roughly "new yen." A single nuyen was not of great value; 500 nuyen could serve well as a birthday gift for a child. That was also an amount a young child could save up, and which could be used for about a dozen trips on the Northbridge tram system. Note: It might be similar in value to a Barrayaran Imperial Mark, considering that a similar number of Marks made a generous Winterfair gift on Barrayar.
