The Axe Gang was a large gang on Coruscant during the time of the New Republic. It was part of a loose collective of gangs and cartels on the planet known as the Collectivum, led by a mysterious individual named Empyreus. The Axe Gang itself was led by a Zeltron named Mizushima. In 18 ABY, a New Republic Intelligence agent named Viktor Tsoi infiltrated the gang in order to gain access to Empyreus.
