Colonel Ian Davidson was assigned command of the Earth vessel Odyssey in 2007, following the death of Colonel Paul Emerson. Davidson took the Odyssey to investigate a massive stockpile of weapons reportedly being used in preparation for an attack on Earth; when their presence was detected and the persons on the planet appeared to be attempting an escape, he ordered an immediate attack, destroying the stockpile. He later commanded the ship to capture Adria, who was being held by Ba'al.
