The game as a Whole-Plot Reference to Neon Genesis Evangelion. A secretive and powerful government agency fights off Alien Invaders with poorly understood technology. The aliens possess strange forms and esoteric abilities, and are only defeated by the involvement of Ordinary Highschool Students. The main characters correspond quite well to the characters of NGE, with the exception of the main character and Jungo Torii. Keita Wakui is Touji Suzuhara. Both Ronaldo Kuriki and Yuzuru Akie are Ryoji Kaji, albeit different aspects of the man.
