The Goa'uld Empire was the collective holdings of the Goa'uld. Territorially, it was the largest grouping in the Milky Way. Politically, however, the Empire was factional and prone to chaos. In 2005, the Goa'uld Empire was destroyed by the Jaffa, Replicators, and Tau'ri.
