Mr. Pruett was the father of Desirée Pruett, the husband of Desirée's mother, the father-in-law of Abraham Thorn, and the grandfather of Livia Pruett. He is a descendant of Goody Pruett. His relation, if any, to the Prewett family of British witches and wizards is as yet unknown.
