Nan Martin (July 15, 1927 – March 4, 2010) appeared in two episodes of The Golden Girls, appearing first as Frida Claxton in the Season 2 episode "It's a Miserable Life", then as Philomena Bosco in the Season 4 episode "Foreign Exchange". Nan was an seasoned veteran actress who starred in movies and on television.
