The 1968–69 Division 2 season was the second tier of ice hockey in Sweden for 1968–69. The league consisted of 96 teams, divided into eight geographical groups of 10-14 teams apiece. The eight group winners continued to a promotion qualifier, which resulted in Clemensnäs IF, Sandåkern SK, Tingsryds AIF, and Surahammars IF being promoted to Division 1 for the 1969–70 season.
