Norrin was King of Maren in the third century HE, making him a likely contemporary of King Roger II of Tortall, Rebakah Cooper, and others. He co-ruled with Queen Anj'la, his wife. He and his wife used the Dominion Jewel to bring prosperity to the kingdom. His symbol is a snow-capped mountain.
