The Diet of Imperial Planetary Governors was a legislative body of the Galactic Empire created after their victory at Endor. Emperor Palpatine announced it's creation after the victory, during an Endor Day speech. It was made up of Planetary Governors, and was meant to further the illusion that the Empire was a constitutional monarchy, though no one believed it by that point.
