Elar Haroz was a Lerrak male. He was one of five admirals in the Lerrak Migrant Fleet, a position equivalent to other races' head-of-state. Each admiral commanded 10,000 ships in the huge fleet. He was generally disliked by his peers for his somewhat unconvential political views. Despite his people having been driven from their homeworld by the Olanth droids that they had built, Elar believed that the Lerrak people should colonize a new world, rather than go to war with the Olanth.
