The Red-faced parrot (Hapalopsittaca pyrrhops), is a species of parrot in the Psittacidae family. It is found in Ecuador and Peru. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. It is threatened by habitat loss. The red-faced parrots are a low priority on the endangered animals list (Rodríguez, Suarez, Sharpe).
