Goombeetle (also called Metallic Goombas) are enemies found in Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2 and they are a sub-species of Goomba. These enemies are basically Goombas with helmets worn on their head, preventing them from being destroyed when jumped on. They are found in the Buoy Base Galaxy, Dreadnought Galaxy, Bowser Jr.'s Fiery Flotilla, Beat Block Galaxy, and Chompworks Galaxy. To defeat these enemies, Mario needs to use his spin attack and then jump on the bottom of them. They can also be knocked over, allowing Mario to jump on them by Mario's partner, Luma in Super Mario Galaxy 2. Also, Goombeetles can be defeated by Bullet Bills.
