Yes, the British Government runs the BBC. There really isn't a lot you can add to the previous answer which is blunt, to the point, and completely true. Here are some personal opinions. They (the "government") have conditioned the public to such an extent that it is enforcable in law to pay the UK government approx. £140.00 GDP per annum, for a 'license' to view any TV. There is no choice, and this 'fee' is applicable to ANY TV recieved via any device. This 'fee' goes to a bloated corporation who spend license payer's money as if it were manufactured for their purpose. That any 'News' broadcast is repeated and without truth and always plays to 'policy'. When do you see any controversial reporters on any BBC news broadcasts?
