The fight begins with Lightning alone. At first she doesn't seem very threatening as she only uses basic gunblade attacks. However, once her HP is reduced to roughly 85%, a brief cutscene introduces Amodar who teams up with her. Both Lightning and Amodar are immune to Dispel and other debuffs, and have multiple buffs for the majority of the fight. Lightning has access to Esuna when she shifts to the Medic role, meaning that the debuffs that are applied, can easily be removed. Both foes can be launched once staggered, rendering them harmless while airborne.
