Splendor is the rune word 'EthLum' for off-hand armor in Diablo II: Lord of Destruction. Splendor seems to be intended for spellcaster use. Sadly, Spirit Rune Word completely outclasses it in that aspect, while the Lidless Wall is also slightly better. However, for characters who cannot create Spirit and do not have Lidless Wall, this is a sound alternative. It is also one of three shields that offer magic find as an attribute, although Rhyme also offers Cannot be Frozen with its highest rune being a Shael. Finally, necromancer shrunken heads can only have up to two sockets, so if a white head with good staffmod is found, this rune word can be used to increase its power a little further.
