Bathyspheres were so limited in Rapture. We had Submarines mentioned, but the only plausible ones might've been those we saw in Smugglers Hideout. You really couldn't operate them like Autos in our Civilization, but real private Submarines might be a logical extension for a mode of Rich People's transportation.
